Diabetes Research Studies
Diabetes is a condition that has become increasingly common in North America over the past few decades. The typical diet, high in processed foods that contain fat and sugars, of an average American combined with the average exercise routine of that same American often lead to a condition known as diabetes. Diabetes can be potentially deadly, but treatment options exist that make the disease manageable.
Diabetes used to be known as a disease that would typically affect adults, but in recent times it has be come increasingly common for adolescents to be treated for diabetes. Treatment options generally include monitoring of sugar levels in the bloodstream and administering insulin when needed. Other treatment options that have been studied including converting to a healthy lifestyle using fresh foods and daily exercise. More studies are needed to determine efficacy of alternative treatments.

Helping with Blood Supply
There are many ways that you can participate in life-saving research, and the good news is that since your participation is so valuable, you could be compensated for your time and cooperation with a payment. You may choose to donate blood twice a week, or you may choose to become a sperm or egg donator. Also, you may have the choice to participate in a short-term or long term medical study.
